I think everyone should get a little exposure to computer science because it really forces you to think in a slightly different way, and its a skill that you can apply in life in general, whether you end up in computer science or not.
I think that great programming is not all that dissimilar to great art. Once you start thinking in concepts of programming it makes you a better personas does learning a foreign language, as does learning math, as does learning how to read.
