Call for Code is a global contest, the creators of the prototype need to build an app that predicts when andthe disaster will be most severe. IBM is offering a cash prize of $200,000 to the contest winner. The company will also help in developing the prototype and pitching it to the venture capitalists.

IBM has pledged $30 million for the program and the money will be invested in building developer tools, free code, technologies and training modules. IBM has published the necessary resources about data, AI, IoT, cloud, and blockchain technologies.
